Universal Studios (Orlando)

At Universal Studios Hollywood, two of the most immersive areas in the park transport visitors into completely different worlds: the wizarding streets of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the animated chaos of Springfield.

Step into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and you’re instantly in the snow-covered village of Hogsmeade. The towering spires of Hogwarts Castle dominate the skyline, home to the thrilling ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Fans can sip on a frothy mug of Butterbeer, browse magical shops like Ollivanders for their very own wand, or wander through Honeydukes and Zonko’s as if they’ve stepped straight into the world created by J. K. Rowling. The level of detail—from the music drifting through the streets to the shop windows that move and sparkle makes it one of the most immersive themed lands in any park.

Just around the corner, the tone shifts completely in Springfield, the bright and hilariously chaotic hometown of Homer Simpson and the rest of the family from The Simpsons. The centerpiece attraction, The Simpsons Ride, drops guests into a wild virtual roller-coaster adventure through Krustyland. Outside, you can grab a giant pink donut from Lard Lad Donuts, sip a cold Duff Beer at Moe's Tavern, or take photos with the towering Lard Lad statue. Every storefront from Krusty Burger to the Kwik-E-Mart is packed with references and jokes longtime fans will recognize instantly.

Together, these two lands show off what Universal Studios does best: turning beloved pop-culture worlds into fully walkable experiences where you can ride, eat, and explore inside the stories themselves. One moment you’re casting spells in Hogsmeade; the next you’re grabbing a donut in Springfield.
