Mother Mother
Mother Mother is a Canadian indie rock band formed in Quadra Island, British Columbia and based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Known for their distinctive harmonies, theatrical songwriting, and genre-blending sound, the band is led by singer and guitarist Ryan Guldemond, alongside Molly Guldemond, Jasmin Parkin, Ali Siadat, and Mike Young.
Mother Mother first gained widespread attention with their 2008 album O My Heart, which featured fan-favourite tracks like Hayloft. In recent years, the band experienced a resurgence in popularity as several of their songs went viral on social media, introducing their music to a new generation of listeners.
With a sound that blends indie rock, alternative pop, and art-rock influences, Mother Mother has built a dedicated international following through prolific releases and dynamic live performances.
