Dream Theater
Dream Theater is one of the most influential progressive metal bands in the world, known for their virtuosic musicianship, complex compositions, and epic live performances. Formed in 1985 by students at Berklee College of Music, the band features guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, drummer Mike Portnoy, keyboardist Jordan Rudess, and vocalist James LaBrie.
The band achieved mainstream recognition with their 1992 album Images and Words, which featured the breakthrough single Pull Me Under. Since then, Dream Theater has released numerous acclaimed albums blending heavy metal with elements of progressive rock, jazz, and classical music.
