Classic Albums Live
Classic Albums Live is a Canadian concert series and touring production that recreates iconic albums live on stage — note for note, cut for cut — using top professional musicians. The concept was created by Craig Martin and launched in Toronto, Ontario in 2003.
Instead of tribute-style theatrics or impersonations, Classic Albums Live focuses purely on the music. The performers reproduce legendary albums exactly as they were recorded, using skilled musicianship and high-quality sound to faithfully bring the studio recordings to life.
After performing the featured album in full, the musicians usually return for a second set of additional hits from the same artist. The series has featured classic records by artists such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Fleetwood Mac.
The concert series regularly tours theatres across Canada and the United States and has become a popular way for audiences to experience classic rock albums performed live exactly as they were originally recorded.
